This is an outstanding collection of approximately 150 lots of fine glass featuring historical flasks, blown and pattern molded wares, early colorful and fancy decanters, and an important grouping of early black glass bottles. A number of these items include outstanding provenance.

Old Glass, in its wonderful and widely varying array of colors, captured the interest of John and Kay Moore as is beautifully illustrated in this superb collection of more than 40 years. The Moores make their home in Wichita, Kansas, where John’s appreciation and passion for these beautiful and historical glass objects began at an early age. His mother purchased a pontiled, “Brant’s Indian Pulmonary Balsam” medicine bottle at a Salvation Army Store in the 1930’s. This bottle planted the initial seed for John’s future collecting endeavors.
